Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American journalist. She is the host of SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. In 2016, she was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at her age of nine. Her ability in this area has helped her get her first job with Univision, Miami. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd of November, 1985. She has an elder sister. In 1992, the family left Mexico to the US and eventually settled in Miami. Her parents divorced soon after and, in the year 1995, she got married to an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. While on a vacation Antonietta spent the time at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed a new job. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school however, she had a clear idea of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University in order to find out if the school was suitable for her. It was a beautiful campus as well as offered the level of education she was looking for. When she completed the requirements for high school, she attended the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU in which she's a member. They developed a close relationship. Her professor urged her to have self-confidence and was deeply moved by his passion for journalism.
